MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Four suspects were arrested following a high-speed chase on I-77 after police said they weresuspected of breaking and entering into stolen motor vehicles, according to a news release.

The release states that in the early morning of June 6, officers responded to a call about breaking and entering of vehicles in the Legacy Village apartment complex.

Officers who arrived on the scene said they saw four suspect leaving the complex in a stolen Audio and pursued them until the vehicle was disabled. The release then says that the suspect fled on foot until three of them occupied a stolen Kia.

The suspect were pursued again on I-77 until they crashed at Exit 33 and attempted to flee on foot before being apprehended shortly after, as said in the release. Police say the suspects sustained injuries and were transported to CMC Main for treatment. The fourth suspect was apprehended as well near Hillside Drive.

A police officer was said to have sustained a head injury while taking one of the suspect into custody, due to the suspect resisting arrest.

The suspects were linked to more than 70 vehicle break-ins in the Mooresville area. Police recovered three stolen motor vehicle and firearms.

Ryshard Malachi Wingate, 20, of Albemarle, received a $100,000 bond and is being charged with the following:

• Felony Possessing Stolen Goods
• Misdemeanor Carrying a Concealed Gun
• Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana

Jalen Keyshaw Sanders, 20, of Charlotte, received a $120,000 bond and is being charged with the following:

• Felony Breaking or Entering a Motor Vehicle, 13 counts
• Felony Conspiracy

Jayquan Keyshawn Curry, 21, of Charlotte, received a $195,000 bond and is being charged with the following:

• Felony Breaking or Entering a Motor Vehicle, 11 counts
• Felony Conspiracy
• Felony Larceny of Motor Vehicle
• Felony Larceny of Firearm, 2 counts
• Felony Possessing Stolen Goods
• Felony Flee, Elude Arrest with a Motor Vehicle

Tywon Antwain Tilman, 19, of Charlotte, received a $100,000 bond and is being charged with the following:

• Felony Breaking or Entering a Motor Vehicle, 11 counts
• Felony Conspiracy
• Felony Larceny of Motor Vehicle, 2 counts
• Felony Larceny of Firearm, 2 counts
• Felony Possessing Stolen Goods

The investigation is active and ongoing. Additional charges could be coming as the investigation continues, officials said.
