My kids love nothing more for breakfast than fun shaped pancakes! (Well, and maybe a little bacon.) We always try to match at least one batch of weekend pancakes to the holiday. Recently we made pumpkin pancakes for Halloween. Now it’s time for Thanksgiving pancakes! What better way to serve up breakfast on the morning of the big feast than dishing out turkey shaped pancakes?!

Follow these easy steps to create beautiful (and delicious) Thanksgiving turkey pancakes.
Last Thanksgiving, my husband and the girls made homemade butter from heavy whipping cream. It was the PERFECT complement to our turkey shaped pancakes for our Thanksgiving brunch! BTW – if you like this idea, I highly recommend having your own personal Butter Bell on hand to store your homemade butter! It works great and we enjoyed every pat.

Ingredients
Turkey Body - Pancakes
- 2 cups Bisquick pancake mix
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp confectioners sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips or other pancake favorites
Turkey Face - Egg Circle
- 6 eggs
Turkey Tail Feathers - Bacon
- 16 ounces bacon
Turkey Feet & Beak - Candy Corn
- 18 pieces candy corn 3 per person
Instructions
Make pancakes according to the Bisquick recipe. Fold together the dry ingredients. Melt the butter and combine with milk, vanilla, and egg. Add chocolate chips if desired. Make traditional circular pancakes on your griddle or pan. Tip: If you like, use jimmies / sprinkles to add a little color to the pancakes!
Cook the bacon on a baking pan at 375 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes according to personal preferences. Remove from grease and drain on a plate covered in paper towels.
Crack your eggs into a measuring cup. Make eggs in little egg molds or use a circular cookie cutter to cut out enough circles for each person to have one.
Stack two or three pancakes to create the turkey body. Break bacon strips in half and place several strips behind each pancake stack for tail feathers. Place an egg on top of the pancake stack for the turkey's head.
Place two candy corn pieces at the bottom for feet. Place one pointing downward on the egg for a beak. Use two chocolate chips or two blueberries for eyes.
Serve hot and enjoy this fun and memorable Thanksgiving pancake breakfast!
Notes
These Thanksgiving pancakes work wonderfully for holiday brunch for your family. You can add a fresh fruit salad on the side and some orange juice to complete the meal. Happy Thanksgiving!
