All in one grow bag inoculated with Golden teacher spores - 10 days into fruiting conditions- no pins showing yet. Can anyone tell me if I should be doing anything differently, please. Conditions Small slit cut under filter patch 12 hours light/12 hour dark cycle Temp 75 degrees 80 % humidity. Any feedback or tips would help! Thanks in advance! MM 🍄

hard to tell through the bag but it's probably still colonizing. you could probably turn your bag into a Faht Sack -------------------- New or Returning Grower? Start here

hey friendo welcome to the shroomery!first of all, We dont do "fruiting conditions". fae is constant from the moment we spawn until harvest. we dont put spores to grain. We tend to not promote all in one bags. please read the hitchhikers guide linked in my sig and get familiar with our conventional techniques. we are here to help you. best of luck! let us know how we can help. --------------------

Thanks. What do you mean you don’t do fruiting conditions? With this bag, knowing this is a first time grow, I’m doing my best to keep it simply and grow in bag… What would be your best advice for a new grower that has this colonized bag?

meaning we dont distinguish betwen growing and fruiting conditions.if that were my bag? id crush it up and spawn it to an ez dialed monotub. in other words, id treat it like a grain spawn jar. read the guide and i think youlll get a good idea of what to do from here --------------------

FAQs
Indirect light and a stable temperature range of 55-75°F (13-24°C) guide healthy mushroom growth. Regular misting is key to avoid substrate dry-out, especially in dry or high elevation conditions. Aim for a consistent layer of fine mist or dew on all internal surfaces.
How long does it take for cubensis to fruit? ›
Psilocybe cubensis is found on cow (and occasionally horse) dung, sugar cane mulch or rich pasture soil, with mushrooms appearing from February to December in the northern hemisphere, and November to April in the southern hemisphere.
How do you know when mycelium is ready to fruit? ›
The signal for transfer is the formation of 1-2 primordia per 5-10% of the bags. They are called so - signal primordia. Avoid mass pinning in the incubator. Incubator has a high content of carbon dioxide, and if the bags with the substrate are not moved in time, the mushrooms pins will die.
How do you encourage fruiting? ›
Most fruit trees need a pollination buddy to set fruit successfully, so make sure your tree has a compatible partner-in-crime nearby. It goes without saying that avoiding the use of pesticides will greatly improve your trees' chances of successful pollination.
How long does it take for Monotub to fruit? ›
After about 10 days your MonoTub should be fully colonised and ready to fruit. Don't worry if it hasn't fully colonised by then, it can sometimes take as long as 2/3 weeks to fully colonise.
How long does it take for mycelium to start fruiting? ›
At this point in the growing process the mushroom mycelium should be pretty well established, and not that vulnerable to contaminates, but mold can and will grow in the terrarium if not well maintained. After 14 to 16 days, you should notice the beginnings of fruit bodies growing.
What is the best temperature for grain spawn cubensis? ›
This is when the mycelium will start to take over the grain that was inoculated with spores. This period usually lasts between 3 to 6 weeks depending on strain and environmental conditions. Ideal conditions for this phase are in a dark place and temperature between 72 F – 80 F.
How do you force mycelium to fruit? ›
That is done through a process called forcing triggers the mycelium to produce fruiting bodies (mushrooms) predictably, within a short period of time. “Shocking” is how it's done. Shocking involves soaking logs in cold water for an extended period of time (12 to 24 hours) to induce fruiting.
What is the best temp for mycelium fruiting? ›
Temperature. Fruiting temperatures should be between 70-79°F (22-27°C), which is slightly lower than the 75-85°F (24-30°C) required during incubation. The mycelium of the mushroom also gives off less heat while fruiting than it did during colonization.
When to open all in one bag? ›
It is time to harvest once the mushroom's "veil" breaks (This is the protective covering on the underside of the mushroom gills). Note this is the general rule of thumb, and really depends on the genetics. Cut the top of the bag open. Twist mushrooms by the base.
Sunny, especially south- or west-facing aspects on the other hand are ideal for growing just about any fruit, but especially sun lovers such as grapes, figs, peaches, nectarines and apricots. Gardeners with a courtyard or garden surrounded by walls or fences should be aware of 'rain shadows'.
What are the starting fruiting conditions? ›
Creating Conditions for Fruiting
- High humidity. Most species like 80 to 95% humidity.
- Ideal temperature for fruiting — varies with species and strain. Oyster and shiitake have cold and warm weather strain. ...
- Good air exchange — ventilation or fan, low CO2 levels.
- Enough light. Indirect sunlight for most species.
What do plants need when fruiting? ›
Phosphorus and potassium
Among other things, phosphorus supports root growth and fruiting, while potassium supports disease resistance and plant hardiness. Phosphorus and potassium are not mobile in the soil and need close contact with plant roots in order to be taken up.
What temperature should fruiting be? ›
Fruiting happens after your all-in-one bags are fully colonized or when your grain mix with fruiting substrate has been recolonized. Fruiting temperature conditions of 70 F – 80 F is similar to the colonization phase.
