How much is the bagster collection fee? ›

The Catch: The Bagster costs $30 for the bag itself which is a one time use. The pickup charges then average $180. The booking fee is $8 and any other fees that will be included (there are).

First, purchase a Bagster bag at a local home improvement retailer. Find a Bagster bag retailer near you. After you have filled your Bagster bag, you can schedule your collection* online or by phone. A collection fee is paid to Waste Management upon scheduling.

Schedule a pickup online and it's gone. For your Bagster^® bag to be serviced properly, remember to place it on your property at least 1.5 yards away from any structure or vehicles and clear of any overhead wires, trees, or structures. The Bagster^® truck needs at least 18 feet of vertical clearance to operate.

When your Bagster^® bag is full, pickup is quick and easy. Simply schedule a collection online or call 877-789-BAGS (2247) and we'll be out in a flash to pick it up.

Cost Considerations

On the average, the Bagster is cheaper overall. however, for most areas, the Bagster is a lot more expensive than the dumpster, especially compared per cubic yard of debris capacity. The average cost of a Bagster pick-up ranges from $120 to $200.

These work well. But before you buy these you need to call waste management and make sure that they will pick the bags up once they are filled. Anyone can buy these bags but it does not come with the promise to be picked up. The price for these bags is a really good price.

According to Waste Management, Bagsters cannot take in hazardous materials, appliances, electronics, or yard waste.

A: You can put ANYTHING in it. The question is: do you want the Bagster folks to pick it up? (EXPENSIVE AND THEY WON'T TAKE PAINT CANS). If instead you get a local junk hauler who will take the paint cans (most will), do as I have done: instruct them to take the junk and LEAVE THE BAGSTER BEHIND.
